Samsung Washer Dryer Error codes can vary slightly from washing machine codes so let’s take a closer look.
For some reason we are inundated with requests to diagnose Samsumg washing machines and at the moment appears to be the only topic people want to talk about. I’m no expert on Samsung but as a rule, faults are pretty much the same across all makes of appliances.
I mean let’s face it, what does a washing machine do other than take water on, heat it up, turn the drum and then dump the water.
So we shall take a look at Samsung Washer Dryer Error Codes
| Code | What it Means | What To Do |
|---|---|---|
| bE | A button is stuck or pressed down for more than 75 seconds. | Check the buttons to make sure that none of them are stuck or jammed. |
| dF | Door circuit failure | Check the Door Lock. |
| do | The door was opened while the dryer was running. When the door is open, the dryer will not operate. | Close the door tightly and restart the cycle. |
| Et | EEPROM failure. | You need a Service Tech. |
| FE | An abnormal power frequency was detected. | You need a Service Tech. |
| hE | Heater error. | Make sure that the fluff filter is not clogged, and that the dryer has adequate venting. |
| od | The dryer has been set to run for more than 240 minutes. | Change the settings to reduce the overall drying time. |
| tO | Dryer thermistor open. | Make sure that the fluff filter is not clogged, and that the dryer has adequate venting. |
| tS | Heater temperature control problem. | Make sure that the fluff filter is not clogged, and that the dryer has adequate venting. |

Hi,
Im having problems finding out this code for my samsung washing/dryer machine it keep’s saying (se) after a load of washing, but it isnt finishing the load i have to turn the machine off then back on to rinse the cycle.. would anyone be able to tell me what (se) means and what to do to fix it…

@Abby The error may not be SE but 5E – Drain Error. Have a think about what it’s doing or more the case what it’s not doing when the error occurs.
Check the drain hose isn’t kinked or blocked together with the waste socket.
