Assuming of course you own and operate your own business, you have probably had plenty of time to think what your next form of revenue should be.
During this down turn in the economy, it is time to look elsewhere for your income and is likely you have never considered Tendering.

How To Tender for Government Contracts

These are classed as Public Sector Contracts and it is big business. There are companies cashing in on this latest trend. There is nothing new about this of course but certain individuals are setting themselves up as advisers and cashing in. You only need to google this and you can see how many articles have been wriiten about ‘How to Tender for Government Contracts’.

If you have ever gone through the Tender process then you are all too aware of the lengthy procedure with all the hoops you have to jump through just to even be considered. I was recently invite to a workshop on How To Tender for Government Contracts and beleive me it was an eye opener. Carys who presented the workshop did a great job of explaining the process and did so with out a sales pitch for the company who she was representing. I don’t suppose they will mind me giving the company - www.menterabusnes.co.uk – a little mention here. Anyway, if like me you are a small family run business then you can forget tendering for contracts in excess of £50k. You just won’t have the resources to back up your tender.

Well there is another way in, which I am going to explore here. It’s called Lower-value Contract Opportunities – Public Contract Bidding and there are oppurtunities for all of us to get involved in. There’s gold in them there hills.
